Celebrity Stock Car Race for Courage Aug. 1

STOCK CAR RACES FEATURE LOCAL PERSONALITIES

Sunday, Aug. 1, at Raceway Park

The celebrity “Race for Courage” is set for Sunday, August 1, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. at Raceway Park in Shakopee, Minn.

Local celebrities race against each other in stock cars, building awareness for Cars for Courage, Courage Center’s vehicle donation program.

The public is welcome to attend and cheer on their favorite contestant. Some of the personalities scheduled to participate include:

This event is free with admission to Raceway Park.

Promoting the race in the KARE 11 Backyard with Belinda Jensen are Kelly Buttler, Rachel McNeil, Joann Noack, Jim Kelley, Bob Mattson and Mark Eldred.
