Amateur or “ham” radio is a life-long activity that anyone can enjoy. Courage Center’s Handiham System teaches participants how to get their ham radio licenses.
Participants progress through several levels of amateur radio licensing, beginning with basic electronics concepts. Successful candidates earn their ham radio licenses, get on the air, make friends and help their communities with public service communications.
