From Courage Center to Target Field - The 2010 No Name Deli Express 5K Your Way - Saturday, July 31

Run Walk Roll or Stroll ~ Presented by The Minnesota Twins? and Dairy Queen?

WHAT:       A family-friendly fundraising event. Run, walk, roll or stroll at your own pace!  Visit www.couragecenter.org/5KYourWay to register.                                                             

WHO:     Open to participants of all ages and all abilities: individuals, families, sports teams clubs and company groups. Includes wheelchairs, adapted cycles, runners, walkers and strollers  (Bikes, Rollerblades, Scooters, Skateboards are not permitted.)  Expected crowd: 1,000 based on registration                                                                                   

Michael Cuddyer of the Minnesota Twins and several of his teammates will join the crowd for fun and games at the event's end point, Target Field.

WHEN:       Saturday, July 31, 2010
                 Registration begins: 6 a.m.
                 5k begins 7:15 a.m.                                                                                                       

WHERE:      Start from Courage Center Golden Valley, 3915 Golden Valley Road, and travel a 5K (3.1 mile) course on the beautiful walking/biking trails along scenic Theodore Wirth Parkway in Minneapolis and end at Target Field.

MORE:     Tons of fun for everyone in the 2010 Deli Express Family Fun Zone: Live music by Alison Scott, face-painting, great food and games galore.  Meet some of your favorite Minnesota Twins players.

This fundraising event for Courage Center offers great incentives and prizes to groups and individuals who raise at least $25 per person.
